Supported Employment

Vivid Work Crew is an Australian Disability Enterprise that offers paid, meaningful employment in a supported environment. Vivid has three ‘Crews’ – Echuca, Swan Hill and Kerang. Each site and crew is unique, partnering with local businesses to get the job done!

Vivid Work Crew is made up of a team of Supported Employees and Support Workers. With the overall goal of building capacity, learning new skills and challenging ourselves, Vivid Work Crew is a vibrant and fun employment setting.

Supports in Employment

The path between supported employment and open employment can often feel like a big leap! Vivid Work Crew are excited about their partnerships with businesses that make this transition as smooth as possible. Our Workforce Support contracts mean that businesses can get the help of supported employees from Vivid Work Crew on a variety of jobs and tasks. Our Crew members are given as much support as they need. Sometimes that can be a phone call before their shift, a weekly de-brief or someone to be there for their first introduction on a new job.

Vivid Work Crew is an Australian Disability Enterprise that offers paid, meaningful employment. Our business, and the work we do for them, varies widely. Flexible contracts mean that our Crew can head out on a daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly basis and thanks to our large supported employee team, we will always have enough hands on deck to complete the tasks that you need.

Some of the work that we do for businesses includes:

• Gardening and maintenance
• Commercial cleaning
• Laundering
• Packaging
• Painting surveyor pegs
• Picking and packing florists’ supplies
• Relabelling cans of non-perishable foods for supermarkets

The variety of work that we’re able to do is extensive and we will work with you to create an arrangement that meets your needs and the skills of our Work Crew.

 

Vivid Work Crew in Swan Hill love tackling a new project. They manufacture a range of goods using timber including pallets for fruit export, cubby houses, sheds and veggie boxes. With two qualified tradesmen sharing their knowledge and skills with the Crew, the possibilities are endless.

If you’re a local fruit farmer and you export fruit internationally, our timber pallets are made with export grade timber and we have years of experience filling large orders of pallets.
