Vivid’s UPbicycle Program is expanding to Kyabram!
Thanks to a meaningful partnership with St Augustine’s College, the Kyabram Community and Learning Centre (KCLC) and a $10,000 FRRR grant, Vivid can now rescue more bikes from landfill and support more people across the community.
Affectionately known as the ‘Bike Shop’, the program has grown into a hub of skills, learning and connection. Participants learn how to repair and prepare bikes for sale, build confidence in a real workshop environment and contribute something meaningful back to the community.
The expansion to Kyabram also creates hands-on learning opportunities for St Augustine’s VCE Vocational Major students, who will work alongside Vivid clients, volunteers and staff.
If you’d like to get involved, we’re always looking for donations of old or unused bikes and spare parts to help bring more bikes back to life.
