Celebrating Connection and Community: Vivid’s Open Day 2024
On Wednesday 20 November, Vivid’s High Street South/HUB site in Echuca came alive with energy, enthusiasm, and community spirit during our highly anticipated Open Day. Blessed with perfect weather, the afternoon event was a vibrant showcase of everything Vivid has to offer.
From Day Services to Supported Employment, Accommodation, Flexible Services, and Support Coordination, the full spectrum of Vivid’s services was on display. Our dedicated staff and engaged clients proudly shared their work, creating an inviting and informative atmosphere for all attendees.
A highlight of the day was welcoming students from Echuca Special School, who enjoyed a guided tour of the HUB. Leading the way were Josh Cheep, one of our skilled Work Crew supported employees, and Zach Phyland, a graduate of Vivid’s SLES program. Zach’s journey with Vivid has been nothing short of inspiring, with his recent roles as the master of ceremonies at the Client Dinner Dance and host of our online Annual General Meeting showcasing his talent and confidence.
The success of the Open Day is a testament to the hard work and vision of our team. Special thanks to Resources Coordinator Kelli Johns for spearheading the event, ensuring every detail was managed seamlessly. We also extend our gratitude to Business Manager (Day Services) Sue Green and her incredible team for delivering an event that truly embodied Vivid’s Values – energetic, informative, and fun.
Congratulations to everyone involved in making the Open Day such a resounding success. It was a proud moment for Vivid, celebrating our work and the wonderful community we serve.
We look forward to more opportunities to open our doors and share the incredible impact of Vivid with our wider community.
