A Generous Gift To Fuel UPbicycle

Vivid’s UPbicycle program is celebrating a game-changing donation thanks to Jeff Connell and his son, James Connell. Following the closure of their Sydney bicycle shop, Brown Jersey, the Connells donated a trailer full of brand-new bicycle parts and accessories, including drink bottle cages, handlebars, seats, and rims.

This incredible contribution, valued at thousands of dollars, has been warmly welcomed by our participants and staff, who have already begun using the parts to repurpose pre-loved bikes for resale. The donation will help drive sustainability, provide training and support opportunities, and assist the ongoing success of the UPbicycle program.

A heartfelt thank you to Jeff—who is Tayla Molluso’s grandfather—and James for their generosity and belief in our vision. Their support is helping us create meaningful opportunities at Vivid.
